The Name & The Fruit

What is the name "Sarai"?

In the old testament of the Bible,  Sarai was the first woman mentioned who went through infertility. As the story goes, Sarai struggled to have children and didn't conceive until she was 90 years old. When God blessed her with a son, her renamed her Sarah, telling her she would become "a mother of all nations".

Sarah is often attributed as the mother of Christianity.

From ancient to modern times, the pomegranate has represented fertility, prosperity, good fortune and happiness. In Feng Shui, the pomegranate is a symbol of fertility because of its many red seeds. In Christian art, the pomegranate is a symbol of resurrection and life everlasting. Medieval representations show the pomegranate representing fertility, but also a pause in fertility—in myth and in life.

Pomegranates are also among the healthiest fruits on earth. Rich in antioxidants, pomegranates can help prevent or delay cell damage, and can increase blood flow to the uterus and promote healthy uterine lining for implantation.
